Equatoria offers fine replicas of antique and contemporary wearable folk artifacts from our own collection. We cast our replicas in antiqued sterling silver and bronze using the lost wax method. All our items are produced in the USA.

Many wonderful original wearable artifacts are fast disappearing into private collections, never to be seen again. We are a small company focused on bringing back the most unique items we can find and offering our own designs to the public for the enjoyment of all.

We also offer custom casting in gold as well as sterling silver and bronze, and we are always interested in your ideas and your jewelry needs.

About Milagros

EX VOTOS, commonly called MILAGROS, are typically Latin American but they are also found in other countries, Spain, Italy, Egypt and Greece, to name a few. These wonderful little silver or gold devotional figures and hearts are expressions of gratitude for the intervention of Saints in petitions for help with health, safety, prosperity, unrequited love, pregnancy, babies, children and abundant flocks. Sometimes a popular Saint will have a robe covered with little replicas of arms, legs, babies, cows, burros and innumerable other figures that represent cures through prayer.

These little figures are often done by village silversmiths and they may be somewhat primitive, but more often they show remarkable artistry and true emotional and devotional power.
